To the world, you are a mother, but to your family, you are the world
STRIPED SWEATER: Hollister (sold out) / HEART ARROW BLOUSE: Lauren Conrad (sold out)
I hope everyone had a good Mother’s Day spending time with either your maternal mother or whomever is your guardian! Whatever the case may be, whoever you see as your mom, is your mom! I went over to my mom’s house at about 10:30 a.m. yesterday! I brought her her favorite Starbucks drink (an iced, venti, coconut milk, matcha green tea latte) and she sipped on it while she opened her gift from me! Out of all of the things I got her, she liked the simplest item. A beachy turtle candle holder! It really was cute, plus she loves turtles so much!!! I spent the day with her, running errands, and buying stuff for the Mother’s Day dinner we do. My Grandma came over to my mom’s house around 4:30 p.m. to celebrate with us! We made prime rib, organic chicken legs, baked beans, wild rice, and grilled veggies! It was delicious. And of course we had to have some type of dessert, so I made my famous walnut brownies! And how could I forget… we popped a good amount of champagne bottles and sliced organic strawberries inside of our glasses, it was so yummy :). We also opened a fancy bottle of wine to top it all off. It was a perfect day yesterday, and I am so grateful for my mother and grandmother. They truly are the best. How did you guys spend your mother’s day? Any family traditions? Leave me a comment down below! xoxo.
