We shouldn’t have to give an arm and a leg to keep our faces clean and clear! I just came to this realization not too long ago. Sometimes it’s hard not to get caught up in all of the ads, what beauty gurus recommend, and branding. But face wash is only on our skin for about 20 seconds to a minute. I use the clarisonic brush with my face wash so I literally have my face wash on my skin for only a minute, and that’s it! There really is no need to splurge on a $35 face wash! When you buy a face wash that is more than the average $7 dollars, you are simply paying for pretty packaging. Another reason you would be paying so much for a face wash is because of the brand name. I have used a lot of different face washes ranging from $5 to almost $50! Most of the cheaper face washes do the same job that the higher end face washes do. As long as a face wash clears the skin of debris, dirt, and makeup (for us girls), then I would say that’s exactly all you need. I do recommend buying a face wash that is appropriate for your skin type, whether it is oily, dry, or normal. Just a side tip, you always want to buy products that are suited for your skin type. It makes a huge difference, and can actually fix your troubled skin. Also, do your research. Look up the ingredients that are listed on your face wash. See if they are even good for your skin in general! It’s always good to know what your putting on your skin, because what goes on our skin, goes into our bloodstream.
Happy Friday! Guess what I am doing today? I am going to buy a new face wash, and before you ask, no, I will not be splurging xoxo.
*I love Aveeno products, so I will be looking for a face wash by Aveeno that suits my skin type.
