DON'T FORGET TO ENJOY YOURSELF

I don't usually post on Friday's, but I was picking at my own mind today and came across a topic I wanted to share with you guys. It has to do with forgetting to enjoy ourselves and worrying too much. Anyone who knows me really well, knows that I am the biggest worrier in the world! And I think too much about things. It's like I have to dissect every little thought that runs through my mind and turn it into something bigger, I guess that's where my creativity can be a negative thing in this case! Haha. But, I mean really, have you ever thought too much into something? Why do we make up scenarios in our heads that will probably never happen? Anyways my point is this: We need to take time to breathe for ourselves, and relax. We need to stop worrying about the little things, and try really hard not to let our minds wander. I know I'm making it sound easier than it is, but we have to teach ourselves to take a deep breathe and let it go. Because sometimes relaxing and enjoying ourselves is the only cure to a wandering mind, or a mind that thinks way too much. When I finally realize that I have been in my own mind too much, I make plans to go out an do something, like go out to dinner, or out for drinks. Or even just stay at home and make a nice dinner with a glass (or two) of my favorite wine. Now, what I enjoy doing may not be what you enjoy doing, but just do something that makes you happy. Maybe a walk on the beach or a yoga class, whatever it is, do it. Make time for yourself. Don't get worked up about the little things in life. Be confident in who you are, and do whatever makes you happy. Because that is a life worth living. :) So, happy Friday, and if you choose to go out and have a glass of wine or two, make sure to catch an uber or have a D.D. :) xoxo.
