 FRENCH TOAST

Mmm... just looking at this photo literally makes my mouth water. I'm also hungry, starving, so maybe that has something to do with it haha. French toast has & will always be my favorite breakfast choice. I like to allow myself one day out of the week (usually Saturday, & sometimes Sunday) to eat a sugary, not so good for me kind of breakfast. A girl has to treat herself every once in a blue moon. Am I right? I totally am. There's something about the taste of melted butter, powdered sugar, and syrup. As soon as a fork full of french toast goes into my mouth, it literally starts to water. Not even kidding! It's the strangest thing. French toast to me, is like blood to a vampire. Weird analogy, but it totally makes sense. Anyways, enough about talking about this delicious dish, here is "Our Famous Family French Toast Recipe" :

 

OUR FAMOUS FAMILY FRENCH TOAST RECIPE

 

INGREDIENTS

* 4 Organic Eggs

* 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk

* 6-8 slices of French Toast Bread (you can get at your local grocery store)

* 2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

* 2 Tsp. Cinnamon

* 1 Tbs. Plant Based Butter (I use Country Crock's Plant Butter Sticks w/ Avocado Oil)

 

INSTRUCTIONS

* Whisk Organic Eggs, Unsweetened Almond Milk, Vanilla Extract & Cinnamon together in a large mixing bowl

* Heat griddle or pan on medium heat & melt Plant Based Butter in pan

* Dip each slice of bread in mixture for 5 seconds on each side (making sure each side is well coated with mixture)

* Place each coated slice of bread in heated pan until golden brown

 

TOPPINGS

* Sprinkle of MORE Cinnamon

Powdered Sugar

* Syrup
